Born in 1955, William Kentridge is a South African artist.

In 2010, William Kentridge directed and designed a new production of The Nose for The Metropolitan Opera. The show was based on a 1903 opera of the same name by Dmitri Shostakovich, which drew inspiration from an earlier story written by Nikolai Gogol in 1836. This hand signed limited-edition print was commissioned by Lincoln Center in conjunction with the project.
